The breakfast was a real letdown-totally catered to Japanese tastes, with hardly any options for Westerners. Plus, the coffee was lukewarm! I was expecting way more based on my last stay in Kyoto, which was fantastic.

The location was convenient for exploring the city.
I had an frustrating experience with the room not being cleaned automatically. It was baffling that I had to leave a notice to get housekeeping services. Our room was not cleaned when we returned, and the staff only emptied the garbage and provided clean towels after I complained. This should be standard practice, not something to request.

By and large, it was enjoyable base for sightseeing in Sapporo, had much fun and met absolutely friendly staff with very personalized services. The location was very central, really close to train stations & bus stations and the food and shopping areas;))

Alright, so first off, the location is pretty sweet! It's close to Odori Park and just a short walk from the JR station, making it super convenient for exploring. The public bath on the top floor was a nice bonus too-great views and a cool way to unwind after a day out.
But honestly, the room was a letdown. It was cramped, the AC barely worked, and I couldn't even charge my phone easily with so few plugs. Plus, the breakfast was pretty mediocre, and housekeeping sometimes forgot essential stuff. Not the cozy vibe I was hoping for on this city trip!

This hotel is great, and has everything I need such as free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a tv. On my first stay, the staff helped serve my elderly parents, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it for a comfortable and secure stay.
